About this Funding
Open Pitch is a startup competition designed for early-stage tech companies, attracting hundreds of applicants and narrowing them down to five finalists and one winner. Selected startups pitch live to business leaders and a venture firm, gaining exposure, feedback, and a chance at funding.
The competition highlights innovative ideas across industries, with a strong focus on emerging technologies like AI, positioning itself as a platform for founders building the next generation of impactful companies.
The winning startup receives a $125,000 investment in exchange for 7% equity, structured as 6% via a Y Combinator-style SAFE and a 1% equity grant to Earn Your Leisure. The investment must be made into a Delaware C corporation.
