About this Funding

The Circular Food Innovators Fund (CFIF) is now accepting applications, offering support to Toronto small businesses advancing zero waste solutions in the food sector. Launched in 2024, the fund backs for profit and non profit organizations developing reuse systems that replace single use and takeaway packaging with durable, reusable foodservice ware.

As Toronto accelerates its circular economy strategy, CFIF is focused on scaling practical models that collect, sanitize, and redistribute reusable containers across the local food ecosystem. Applications are open until 11:59 pm on March 1, with additional details available through upcoming information sessions and webinars.
