The Okanagan Angel Summit is a national pitch competition and investment opportunity connecting high-growth startups with active angel investors from across Canada. For the first time, companies nationwide can pitch live for a chance to secure up to $150,000 in angel investment allocation, along with valuable exposure, mentorship, and investor connections.
Throughout the program, participating companies will learn alongside fellow entrepreneurs and build relationships with active investors as they progress toward the Summit Finale. The application fee is $100, and companies that apply by the early bird deadline of March 1 will receive an exclusive one-on-one investor review and feedback session before the final submission deadline of March 29. Startups selected for the Semi-Finals must pay an additional $250 program fee, while Accelerate Okanagan members receive a 20% discount on both fees.
Criteria:
– Early-stage companies seeking investment of $100K – $1M
– Eligible companies should be located within Canada
– Must be able to attend and participate in training, pitch event, and the in-person finale.
– Ability and willingness to accept and use an investment up to $200K
– Prototype (MVP) working towards product/market fit
– Passionate and capable founding team
– A plan to scale (potential for a 10x)
