In an exciting initiative aimed at celebrating the profound impact of small businesses in Ontario, Meridian is calling for nominations for its annual awards program. The financial cooperative is on a mission to recognize and reward those businesses that are not only thriving but also making a significant difference in their communities and the environment.
In total, Meridian will award a remarkable $150,000 in prizes, including $50,000 for the winning business in each of its two award categories: Community and Environment. This initiative not only seeks to uplift deserving small businesses but also aims to inspire others to follow suit in their efforts to foster positive change.
Timeline:
Nominations open mid-September and close late October.
Judging and regional winners announced December-January.
Public voting February-March, with finals in spring
